China's white fused alumina market held steady at soft levels during the reported week, with no significant price fluctuations across product grades in the two main producing regions of Shandong and Henan, according to Mysteel's refractory materials service.

In Shandong, prevailing quotations were 4,050 yuan per tonne for sized grains and 4,150 yuan per tonne for fine powder. In Henan, the corresponding quotations were 4,150 yuan and 4,250 yuan per tonne.

Supply and demand remained stable. The reported quotations place Henan prices 100 yuan per tonne above those in Shandong for both grades. The absence of significant weekly price movements indicates that quoted prices held within a narrow range, but does not by itself establish how long that stability will last. Subsequent price movements and changes in supply and demand will help clarify the market's direction.
