Abrasive: Silicon Carbide | Backing:PET (3 mil / 5 mil) | Form: Sheet · Disc · Roll

Description:
Engineered for Fiber Optics · Electronics · Metallography · Semiconductors · Precision Engineering , third-stage fiber protrusion and geometry control of MPO/MTP ferrules. The non-flocked PET backing prevents particle shedding, keeping alignment holes and fibers clean and minimizing insertion loss.

Applications:

  • MPO/MTP ferrule pre-polish or repair

  • Ceramic ferrule end-face geometry correction

  • Hard metal and composite finishing

Micron Range: 1 µm – 30 µm
